David A. Land is a New York-based photographer. A native of California, he studied at the Art Center College of Design, earning a degree in photography in 1996.
An early assignment—documenting the family trip to Disney Land when he was 8 —led to a lifelong interest in travel photography. David’stravel work has appeared in Conde Nast Traveler, Departures and Afar magazines.
Other editorial clients include Real Simple, HGTV Magazine, The Nest, Lucky, Gotham, Lonny Magazine and Food Network magazines; commercial clients includeAmeristar, TIAA-CREF, Steinway & Sons, and K.Hovnanian Homes.
Recently, David has expanded into video and directing; his video clients include West Elm, GQ, Carol’s Daughter, and Donghia, as well as Lonny, TradHome, and Better Homes & Gardens magazines.
David lives in Brooklyn with his husband and his very favorite subjects, their sons Simon and Xavier.
